I finally went to Target, it’s been like 2 months as I’m avoiding crowds due to germs. It was lovely and quiet. But….food they just keep complicating. Pea protein added to everything does NOT make it a health food. Exercising more then eating all this food with sugar alcohols and weird fibers is not building lean body mass. If you are confused, come see me. I do have some openings Thursday.

Hello my clients - if you didn’t see an email from me Thursday, check your spam. I have some news to share and sick policy strictness this fall/winter/early spring. My annual mammogram in September took a very unexpected turn. The past 5 weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions and tests. I only had to reschedule quickly once on my failed second mammogram day - and a huge thank you to those impacted as I couldn’t give explanations yet. I have breast cancer at 44. My risk was very very low. But here we are. My oncology team is amazing. Both here and Dana Farber. But you will see changes in me shortly- and some of you have seen me for years, and I suspect you will feel this too. I will continue to work through treatment. I may need to switch to telehealth due to immune system or reschedule once I have my chemo schedule. So I thank you in advance for your understanding. And if you are sick, or immediate family members are, please use telehealth. 💕🌈. It takes a village - and I’m blessed for mine.

Prevention and early detection. Following the recommendations for mammograms and colonoscopies is key to early detection. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Colon cancer is 1 in 25 or 26. While these aren’t fun, make sure you stay up to date. No matter how healthy we are, we still need these 💕

Looks like frost this week. I love having fresh herbs growing all season. They add flavor, plus anticancer properties. Tonight I harvested basil and parsley to dry for winter 💫.
