It’s perfectly normal to feel tired after surgery because your body’s energy is focused on healing. However, many may have questions about how tired is "too tired". Recovery is a process, and no two people have the exact response to healing. Some general key points:
👍Needing extra rest, especially in the first week or two—very normal.
👉Ongoing exhaustion, dizziness, or shortness of breath—that's not normal.
We recommend to our patients to rest, eat nourishing foods, and move gently when ready—but don't wait to call our office with any questions or concerns.
