We are proud to welcome Dr. Jerome Ramos-Esteban to Concord Eye Center. Dr. Ramos-Esteban is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in the management of patients with both glaucoma and corneal disease. He performs a wide range of procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery performing minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and corneal surgery. His dual fellowship training uniquely qualifies him to provide comprehensive care for patients with both glaucoma and corneal conditions. Dr. Ramos-Esteban completed a six-year medical school program at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He pursued a glaucoma research fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, followed by an internal medicine internship at RWJ Barnabas Health Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut where he served as Chief Resident and received the Marvin Sears Award for his research in glaucoma. He pursued clinical fellowship training in glaucoma surgery at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Then he performed a second fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute which lasted two-years where he trained in all aspects of cornea surgery.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Ramos-Esteban has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on glaucoma, corneal transplantation and refractive surgery. He has presented his research at national and international conferences, lectured on advancements in glaucoma and cornea care, and contributed to the training of medical students, residents, and fellows. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Ramos-Esteban provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for both complex eye disease and routine vision needs.

He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and their four sons. Outside of medicine, he is an active golfer and he enjoys writing fictional books.
