A great visit from The Nature Connection last week where they presented the “Celebration of Trees” and brought evergreens of many types to explore, along with pine cones big and small, musical instruments and household items made from wood—including games! And also fragrances from the season like orange and clove pomanders (dried orange ornaments.)
Their program animal was Peaches—one of their two adorable and soft angora rabbits!

A great visit with The Nature Connection —residents explored the beauty of fall as nature transitions into winter: with autumn colored leaves, vibrant vegetables, fantastic flowers, and all of autumn’s wonderful mysteries, the process of letting go, and the importance of rest for renewal. It was also fun meeting and learning about their sweet guinea pig, Gary!

Two fun musical shows: Liam Foley playing the guitar & harmonica as well as a local church visit from members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church where students of all ages performed a variety of musical selections.

A fascinating visit from The Nature Connection last week in the Compass neighborhood. Their program: World of November Mysteries, brought plants and animals like the Venus Fly Trap and skulls and foot prints of wolves and bears, and also explored some mysterious beets and other root vegetables with surprising colors inside. Featured this month was their program animal —the VERY cool Bearded Dragon Lizard named Ramses!

A fun visit from the NEADS Service Dogs in-training last month. These amazing dogs were friendly, adorable and impressed us with their well-trained disposition. We were thrilled to be part of their training and look forward to future visits with them.
