It's ThanksGIVING Time!

This Thanksgiving it's important to focus on one very important thing, YOU! Give thanks for YOU and identify ways to Love yourself!
Sometimes that might seem hard with the busyness of life. But self care is important!

My mom passed years ago but it seems like it was just yesterday. While my mom was a blessed woman, she didn't take good care of herself. Women, must learn how to LOVE self first. Start today BEFORE & AFTER gathering with the family and cooking those delicious meals.

Here are a few tips:
1. Sit still in the quietness - find a peaceful place where you can be undisturbed for 15 minutes. Set a timer if you have to. But just sit and do nothing. Breathe in (count to 10) Breathe out.
2. Take a walk - find a place to walk that inspires you; that brings you peace like a park or even your neighborhood. You can set a timer and walk or download a walking app and set a goal to start out walking 1/2 a mile. Build your endurance slowly.
3. Give back - identify a cause or someone in need and give something away, your time, your money.
4. Spend time with our Creator - Begin and end your day with God and end your day with the one who knows you best! Download the YouVersion bible app, choose a devotional that inspires you and speaks to your heart. Building relationship with God is one of the best ways to learn who you are and how to best care for yourself.
..and there you go! This is just a start to redefining your life by putting first things first.
Become strong. Build courage. Grow in wisdom.
