1933 Trivia: Did you know?

In 1933, the Auxiliary hosted one of its first rummage sales and netted $700. These dollars enabled the hospital to acquire 2 state of the art hospital beds and surgical instruments!

For over 100 years, the Auxiliary has raised funds that support vital programs and enhance the patient experience.

POW! When thinking about superpowers, Betty Ann Killian has too many to list. She not only has been a dedicated volunteer for 16 years, Betty Ann has also served as past President of the Auxiliary. In recent years, she has taken the lead on the annual Auxiliary Golf Tournament, a critical fundraiser that allows the Auxiliary to fund important efforts to enhance patient care at Emerson Health.

Fun fact - The Emerson Health Gift Shop has been around for 100 years!
