What's the difference between Dry skin and Dehydrated skin?

Dry skin is a skin type, while Dehydration is a temporary condition that can affect all skin types, whether dry, oily or combination.

Dry skin has less sebum which is our natural oil barrier. Increased sensitivity, and sometimes flaking can be a symptom.

Dehydrated skin, on the other hand, caused by a stressed or broken natural moisture barrier can result in tight pulling feeling, a dull or rough complexion, inflamed or reactive skin conditions.
