🏖️🌞 Stay Safe at the Beach! Tips for Families 🌞🏖️

Summer fun at the beach is the best — but safety always comes first, especially for our little ones! Here are some simple tips to keep your kids safe while making memories by the water:

👒 Sun Protection: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every 2 hours, and don’t forget hats and UV-protective clothing!
💧 Stay Hydrated: Make sure your kids drink plenty of water to stay cool and prevent dehydration.
🌊 Water Safety: Always keep an eye on your children near the water — even if they know how to swim! Use life jackets for younger kids.
👟 Protect Those Feet: Sand and shells can get hot or sharp — water shoes are a great idea!
⏰ Take Breaks: Find some shade and rest to avoid overheating or sunburn.

Here are a few quick tips to make things super smooth:

1. Make sure your child is up to date on their annual well checkup.
2. Complete the parent portion of all forms before submitting.
3. Upload forms via MyChart or drop them off at our office.
4. Please allow 3–5 business days for us to process all forms.⏱

We’re excited to welcome Alanna as our newest CMA Lead!

With over 9 years of experience as a medical assistant, Alanna graduated from Lincoln Tech in Philadelphia in 2016. She made the move to North Carolina in 2021 and has since been passionate about providing top-notch care to her patients.

Alanna is always ready to lean in and support her team members so everyone can succeed together. Outside of work, she’s a big football fan (Go Birds! 🦅), loves good food, enjoys listening to music, and has a talent for photography.
