Enjoy retirement Chief! Thank you for your service!

Today marks Battalion Chief Jeff Stone's last shift with the Concord Fire Department. He is retiring after serving the City for over 30 years. He started his career on January 28, 1995 and served as a Firefighter/Paramedic for 4.5 years before being promoted to Paramedic Lieutenant in July 1999. BC Stone was further promoted to the rank of Captain in June 2007 before his assignment to Battalion Chief on April 4, 2021. He has served the last 4.5 years of his career as the shift commander for Battalion 4. BC Stone has managed the Department’s hose and nozzle program for several years, where his expertise has contributed to the advancement of the Department’s fire attack capabilities and standpipe operations. He has also managed projects to spec and upfit ambulances and the current Car 4. BC Stone was active in the profession outside of the Department, having previously served in the role of Local 3195 President as well as being an active NH Fire Academy instructor. We thank him for his dedicated years of service and wish him luck in his future endeavors and a happy and healthy retirement.
