Knots and Kneads was founded by Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, Gina Igleheart, who wanted to create a concept that focused on health and healing in a medical yet holistic atmosphere and approach. Graduating from University of Vermont in 1976, Gina obtained her A.A degree in Science to become a registered Radiological Technologist. She then traveled throughout Europe and Asia acquiring numerous s
kills and techniques from different practices. Her certifications range from a Certificate in International Therapy from Frederique Holistic Health and Beauty School, Hong Kong in 1997 and a Certificate in Professional Massage, Health and Advance Neuromuscular Therapy from The National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy, Emeryville CA in 2005 and 2012. Gina is trained to identify problem areas and relieve the pain and tension in the soft tissue that supports the skeleton. She has over 1,320 hours of training in massage therapy modalities and techniques ranging from:
