During National Nurses Month, Granite VNA celebrates the dedication, compassion and skills of the nurses who make a difference in the lives of patients and families every day.

This year’s American Nurses Association theme, “The Power of Nurses™,” is a meaningful reminder of the strength, compassion and heart nurses bring to their work — whether providing care, comfort, advocacy or guidance. Thank you to our incredible nursing team for the impact you make throughout our community!

We recognize the important role caregivers play—and the emotional toll caregiving can sometimes take. Caring for an aging loved one is meaningful, but it can also be physically and emotionally exhausting.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a good reminder that caregivers need support, too. Granite VNA offers helpful caregiver resources to help families navigate the challenges of caregiving while caring for their own well-being.

You are not alone. We’re here to help.

Please share this post with anyone who may benefit from extra support.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that connection matters at every age. For older adults, isolation and loneliness can seriously impact both mental and physical health.

Visiting nurses provide more than care—they offer companionship, reassurance, and a caring presence that can make all the difference in a senior’s life. 💙

Let’s continue checking in on the older adults in our lives and helping support their emotional well-being, connection, and quality of life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this year’s Passion for Caring event.
We are truly grateful to our community, sponsors–especially the platinum sponsor, Bank of New Hampshire. Your support makes this event possible each year and helps us provide quality services across 72 New Hampshire communities.

We raised more than $73,000 for Hospice House, our compassionate care center that provides specialized, around-the-clock support in a warm, home-like environment.

Congratulations to Tessa LaFortune-Greenberg, Kay Sidway Award winner; Jay and Jenny Mullins, Donor Recognition Award recipients; and all our raffle and silent auction winners.
