🌬️ November is COPD Awareness Month & Lung Cancer Awareness Month 🎗️

Today, we’re shining a light on our incredible Respiratory Therapy Department at NCK Medical Center — the team dedicated to helping our patients breathe easier, stay active, and live healthier lives.

From managing chronic lung conditions like COPD to supporting patients through lung cancer treatment, our respiratory therapists bring expertise, compassion, and calm to every breath. Their work is essential, and their hearts are even bigger.

The Family Care Center and Walk-in Clinic will be closed this Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving. The clinic will reopen Friday at 8:30am and close at 2:00pm.

• The Midwest has the highest smokeless to***co usage rate compared to the other regions of the United States.
• Smokeless to***co users have an 80% higher risk of oral cancer and 60% higher risk of pancreatic cancer than non-users.
