A standard drink is a way of making sure that when we talk about having a beer or a glass of wine or a shot, we're talking about the same amount of alcohol. ABV means alcohol by volume. The percentages shown are average ABV for those types of drinks. Certain beverages have higher ABVs or are served in bigger containers, which means one serving of them would count as more than one drink.

📣A friendly reminder to use up those Farm Direct vouchers before the end of November!

Oregon WIC: The Farm Direct Nutrition Program (Farm Direct) provides families with an additional source of nutritious food and education on selecting and preparing fresh produce.

WIC participants receive vouchers to spend directly with local farmers who grow fruits and vegetables.

Use your Farm Direct Dollars to buy fresh and local at farmers markets, farm stands and u-pick farms through November 30!

OHA continues to monitor federal legislative developments and their impacts on WIC funding as the government shutdown continues.

USDA has provided additional funding to Oregon’s WIC program, which enables WIC to continue into November. As soon as we have additional information, we will share it with partners and participants.

Today is the day of the Raffle!! Still need to purchase tickets? We will be at the football field during the middle school and high school games, so it's not too late! Drawings will happen at halftime of the high school game which begins at 7pm.

If you have not yet purchased your tickets, there is still time! Contact us or anyone at South Gilliam Health Center to get yours before Saturday. You can also purchase on site at South Gilliam Health Center or at the game!

The family of Sugar's restaurant recently experienced a fire that caused significant damage to their property. South Gilliam Health Center and Gilliam County Public Health have been collecting donations from generous businesses and individuals that will be raffled off on Oct. 11th at halftime of the Condon football game. If you would like to support this cause, you can purchase tickets at South Gilliam Health Center, or by reaching out to any of the staff members! Thank you for supporting this family!
