The Rockland Community Against Hunger Coalition is an incredible public-private partnership uniting organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to fight hunger across Rockland County.

Our Steering Committee works tirelessly to:

* Advocate for local food pantries and the people they serve
* Identify and secure food sources and community resources
* Coordinate large-scale food distributions and a food rescue program
* Support hunger relief programs and policy advocacy
* Strengthen collaboration among community partners
* Expand access to nutritious food for families in need

Together, we are building a stronger, more connected hunger relief network for Rockland County.

Community collaboration in action! 🤝🥫

Today, the Rockland Community Against Hunger Coalition came together to educate, connect, and strengthen the incredible network of partner pantries serving our neighbors across Rockland County. From SNAP updates and Social Care Network resources to cultural food pantry solutions, today’s Lunch & Learn created space for meaningful conversations, shared knowledge, and powerful partnerships focused on one mission: helping pantries better serve their communities.

A huge thank you to our speakers, partners, and pantry leaders who continue showing up for our community every single day. Together, we are building stronger systems of support, improving access to nutritious food, and ensuring families have the resources they need to thrive. 💚

Whether in person or on Zoom, food pantry partners are coming together to learn, connect, and grow at our Lunch & Learn.

From SNAP updates and enrollment support, to learning about free nutrition counseling and medically tailored meals, to making culturally inclusive food pantries more accessible—we’re covering it all.

Because when we share knowledge, we build stronger systems.
And when pantries connect, communities thrive.
