We are so fortunate to have an incredible community of volunteers powering our weekly Get Fresh food distributions! 💚

Coordinated by , and made possible through our strong partnerships—with , which generously donates the food, and , which donates the space—alongside support from Rockland County Government, this amazing team helps us distribute tons of fresh food every week—in under an hour! 🍎đŸ’Ș

Volunteers rock—and we couldn’t do this without you! 🙌

The food we distributed this morning, went to 17 Food Pantry throughout the county.

At the heart of our organization is our incredible Director, Julian Palmer—a true force for good in our community. With compassion and vision, Julian leads our nonprofit in supporting those living with chronic illness and in addressing food insecurity throughout the county. His work ensures that our neighbors not only survive but thrive—with access to the food, care, and dignity they deserve.

But his leadership doesn’t stop with us.

Julian also serves as Co-Chair of the Regional HIV Planning Council, where he helps shape policies and services that directly impact the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS. He brings the same commitment to his role on the governing board of the Hudson Valley Social Care Network, helping to build a more connected and equitable health and social service system across the region.

Through every role he takes on, Julian leads with empathy, integrity, and a deep belief in the power of community. His work is helping to transform public health in the Hudson Valley—one person, one policy, and one act of kindness at a time. đŸ’™đŸŒ±

They also shared important info about fishing in the Hudson River for pantries to distribute— because when you’re feeding your family, knowing safety standards matters. đŸŸâš ïž

Meet Inin Vital, one of our incredible Case Managers. 💙

For nearly 30 years, Inin has been a guiding light for people living with chronic illness. She began her journey with us in the earliest days of the HIV epidemic, when a diagnosis too often felt like a final sentence. Through it all, she’s stood by our members—with strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment.

Today, Inin continues to provide comprehensive medical case management, medical monitoring, and coordination of pharmacy and nutrition services—ensuring that our members don’t just survive, but thrive.

She delivers care in four languages, breaking down barriers and building trust every single day.

Her work is more than a job—it’s a mission of love, hope, and healing. We are endlessly grateful for the heart she brings to our team and to the countless lives she’s touched. 💛
