FYI Fayette County!

There has been an increase in influenza cases throughout the Fayette County. In the last week the FCSC has reported a significant rise in student absentees. The Fayette County Health Department would like to recommend these simple steps to help protect yourself, family members and loved ones.
1. Wash your hands often with soap and at least 20 seconds.
2. Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
3. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.
4.Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow.
5. Get your annual flu vaccine.
6. Stay home if your feeling sick and make sure you are fever free for 24 hours before returning to work or school.

Small actions make a big difference. Let's work together to keep our community healthy.
