Itโs finally feeling like Fall! ๐๐๐งก
But sometimes this time of year means we start to also feel low, disconnected, more fatigued, or sad.
Sound familiar? Could be Seasonal Affective Disorder or (SAD). SAD is a patterned depression that occurs around the same time of year, typically fall and winter months.
With less sunlight and movement, many of us are more vulnerable to isolating and becoming depressed. ๐
Thereโs still time to get ahead of the winter ick ๐. Put a plan into action๐
โซ๏ธ At least 20 minutes a day of natural sunlight if possible! โ๏ธ Or, using a therapy lamp is the next best thing! ๐ก
โซ๏ธ Move your body! ๐๐๏ธ๐งโโ๏ธ Light exercise
Is enough to do the trick!
โซ๏ธ Stay connected with friends, family, and community! โ๏ธ๐
โซ๏ธ Keep your sleep schedule! ๐ด
โซ๏ธ Continue with established medication and other health management regimine and follow up with your family doctor. ๐ฉบโค๏ธโ๐ฉน
If youโd like a little extra help this season to kick the winter blues, letโs work together! โ๏ธ๐๐ค
