The local Conrad hospital, emergency room, rural health clinic and long term care facility are all housed in a county owned building, a building that belongs to every Pondera County resident. Keeping it safe, structurally sound, and compliant with state and federal codes is a shared community responsibility.

“Logan Health provides health care services to Pondera County by renting the county owned facilities. It is very important to maintain and improve these facilities to keep pace with the ever-changing medical services requested by the community we serve,” said Bernard Ries, Logan Health – Conrad Board Chair.

Funds generated by the levy are used exclusively for building maintenance, structural repairs, and code compliance for the county owned hospital, clinic, and long-term care facility leased and operated by Logan Health – Conrad.

National Skilled Nursing Care Week is a time to recognize the incredible impact of skilled nursing teams and the meaningful connections they build every day.

Skilled nursing care is a higher level of medical care provided by compassionate nurses and therapists. These dedicated team members guide patients through recovery after illness, injury or surgery, helping them to reach meaningful milestones around regaining strength and independence.

This week is a great reminder of the meaningful work happening every day at our skilled nursing locations around the system, and the people who make it all possible.

Congratulations to Tegan Jones, a senior at Conrad Public Schools and recipient of the Logan Health Winslow Nichols Leadership Award. With an impressive 4.37 GPA, Tegan consistently challenges himself academically while excelling in football, wrestling, golf, and track and field. He balances this demanding schedule with leadership roles in Student Council and the National Honor Society, demonstrating exceptional discipline and time management. Tegan will graduate high school having already earned his Associate of Science and Math degree from the College of Great Falls.
Beyond the classroom, he gives back as a club wrestling coach and referee, supports civic engagement as a campaign intern, and contributes through student government and farm labor. Respected by peers and admired by younger students, Tegan leads through action, integrity and service. His commitment to excellence, character and community truly reflects the spirit of this leadership award.
