Mr. Joe B. is one of the newest residents here at Carriage Inn, but he’s already making quite an impression. Most recently, he took home the top spot in our weekly pool tournament! We’re thrilled to have him as part of our community and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next.

Our Carriage Inn Conroe residents recently enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Houston, where they visited the serene and inspiring Rothko Chapel. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful art provided the perfect space for reflection and conversation — a truly meaningful experience for everyone who attended.

Afterward, we headed to Cleburne Cafeteria for a delicious lunch! The residents loved the friendly service, hearty comfort food, and, of course, the homemade desserts that made the meal even sweeter.

At Carriage Inn Conroe, we’re all about creating opportunities for our residents to explore, connect, and make lasting memories together — whether it’s through art, culture, or simply sharing a good meal.

Our residents had a spooktacular evening at the Stage Right production of The Addams Family!

We spent an evening full of laughter, music, and a few delightfully creepy moments as we enjoyed this fantastic local performance at the Crighton Theatre. The cast did an incredible job bringing this quirky, lovable family to life, and our residents couldn’t stop talking about their favorite scenes on the ride home!

At Carriage Inn Conroe, we love giving our residents opportunities to experience the arts, stay connected with our community, and make new memories together.

A big thank-you to Stage Right and director Cricket Pepper for such a fun and entertaining show!

Position: Part-Time Concierge -
You’ll be the welcoming face of our community—greeting residents, families, guests, and employees with warmth, answering questions, helping maintain a safe and secure environment, and contributing to an atmosphere where relationships and belonging matter.

Key Responsibilities include:

Greeting and receiving guests, residents, vendors, and visitors in a courteous, polite, and warm manner.

Monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic and ensuring common areas are clean, orderly, and welcoming.

Answering phones, routing calls, and coordinating the paging/telephone system as needed.

What We Require:

High school diploma or GED (required)

Prior customer service experience; front desk or telephone experience preferred

Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail

Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office: Word, some Excel)

Willingness to undergo a background check

We had such a wonderful time during our recent Spa Hour at Carriage Inn Conroe. Residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with massages, soothing aromatherapy, and pampering manicures — all in a peaceful, joy-filled atmosphere.

Our Masquerade-Themed Community Dance was a festive and fun-filled celebration that brought elegance, energy, and a little mystery to the middle of the day!

Residents, staff, and guests came dressed to impress in beautiful masks and creative costumes, ready to enjoy great music, dancing, and a delicious meal together. The dining room was transformed into a vibrant ballroom, and the joy and laughter shared made it an event to remember.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this dance so special—and don’t forget to join us for more festive fun at the Carriage Inn Conroe Costume Contest on Friday, October 31st at 1 PM!

This week, our Carriage Inn Conroe residents took a fun trip over to Heritage Oaks for a friendly visit filled with laughter, fellowship, and a few competitive rounds of Washers with their residents!

It was a wonderful afternoon of shared stories, smiles, and lighthearted rivalry. But the highlight of the day was a very special reunion between our own Karen P. and her mother, Anna P., who is a resident at Heritage Oaks. Seeing the joy on their faces as they reconnected and spent quality time together reminded us all of the true heart of what we do.

We’re so grateful to Heritage Oaks for welcoming us and can’t wait to return the favor soon!

Our Carriage Inn Conroe residents enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing at beautiful Lake Raven this past week. The weather was perfect, the company was even better — and let’s just say the turtles were very happy to see us!

Whether it was reeling in a catch or just soaking up the peaceful views, everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the great outdoors.
