A Special Outing with a Personal Touch

Our Carriage Inn Conroe residents recently enjoyed a delightful visit to The Modern Skein, a charming local yarn shop with a very special connection — it’s owned and operated by the grandchildren of our very own Ms. Margaret E.

During the visit, the talented owners gave us an inside look at their creative process, including a hands-on demonstration of how they hand-dye their beautiful yarns right in the store. The passion, artistry, and family connection made this outing truly meaningful and memorable for everyone.

At Carriage Inn, we are incredibly grateful to the Primrose School of Conroe for becoming such a heartfelt part of our community.

Over the past few months, we’ve had the joy of welcoming their students for craft time, story sessions, and even an Easter egg hunt. But this past weekend, they truly touched our hearts by surprising our residents with a basket of goodies and beautiful handmade cards in celebration of Grandparents Day (September 7).

As you can see in the photos, the smiles say it all—it meant the world to our residents.

From all of us at Carriage Inn: thank you, Primrose School of Conroe, for your kindness, your time, and your genuine care. We look forward to many more moments together!
