Even though her daughter never eats it, a mom packs a snack 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦 today is the day her daughter’s stomach lets out a hungry growl during snack.
Even though her son said he wouldn't be cold, a mom packs a sweater in his backpack 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦 he feels a chill during the school day.
Even though she’s just taking her kids around the corner, a mom will pack a water bottle 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦 one of her kids gets thirsty or starts choking.
Even though her almost five-year-old hasn’t had an accident in over a year, a mom will keep a change of clothes in her diaper bag 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦 he laughs a little too much or doesn’t make it that one time.
A mother will always plan for the “𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦” because she can’t even handle the thought of
her child starving and not having anything to fill her stomach,
her child hugging his arms tightly, cold, and not having something to keep him warm,
her child stuck in a coughing fit with no water to calm it down,
her child stuck in wet pants and embarrassed at the playground.
No matter her child’s age or the distance between them, she will call to make sure he knows to wear his raincoat to work.
Because a mom over prepares.
She cares way too much not to—
because that's her baby,
and 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 will be.
