We want to send a special shout out to one of our cooks, Maria Martinez. She goes above and beyond for our resident meals and loves getting to cook authentic, from scratch food for our staff as well. Everyone knows when she's working by the aroma of her meals drifting down the halls. Conroe is lucky to have her! So again, thank you Maria for always putting your heart into every meal and making our facility feel like home. You are truly appreciated ❤️

Sharon serves as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Conroe Health Care Center and brings over 30 years of nursing experience to her role. Knowing from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse, Sharon has built a career rooted in compassion, leadership, and a deep commitment to quality care.
For the past 8 years, she has been an integral part of the Conroe Health Care Center team, supporting both residents and staff with her knowledge and dedication. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and relaxing with her beloved Bichon Frise. Frise 🐾☀️

we’re proud to spotlight Tavin! Though she’s been a nurse for less than a year, her compassion and love for her patients have already made such a beautiful impact here at Conroe Health Care Center!
Tavin’s journey into nursing was inspired by her grandfather, who served for many years as a paramedic and firefighter and was one of the founding firefighters in Katy, TX. He passed away in January 2020 from lung cancer, but his legacy of caring for others lives on through her every day. ❤️
She is also looking forward to getting married next year 💍 an exciting chapter ahead!
Thank you, Tavin, for carrying on such a meaningful legacy and for the heart you bring to our residents. We are so grateful for you! 👩‍⚕️✨

Happy Nursing Week! 💙
Today we are proud to recognize one of our amazing nurses, Donna Rigsby. She is our director of nursing. Being raised by my grandparents and nurturing them into their golden years, Donna had always dreamed of being a nurse. Having worked in the health care industry for 30+ years, beginning her career as a Certified Nurse Aide then transitioning to a Certified Medication Aide and completing her goal with a Bachelor of Science RN from Indiana University, all accomplished while being employed at same LTC facility for 14 years. Donna has worked in LTC most of her career with the exception of 1 year as a OR Surgical Nurse and 5 years as a hospice nurse/Director. Originally from Indiana, She and her husband moved their family to Texas in 2006 making beautiful Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas their home. She has been blessed with 4 wonderful children and 8 precious grandchildren When not at work caring for her residents, she spends her time with family (usually on the baseball field, cheering on grandchildren!). Thank you, Donna, for the heart you bring to your work and for always going above and beyond. We appreciate you more than words can say! 👩‍⚕️✨
