When it comes to swimwear, go for safety over style 🤿

Did you know that swimsuit colors can save lives? Lifeguards and other water-watchers can only keep track of what's visible above the surface, and

✅ Bright and vibrant warm tones are easy to spot
🛑 Blues, greens, blacks and whites aren't

So next time you head for a swim, make sure your little one is extra visible (in and out of the water) with a brightly-colored suit 🌟

It’s officially the first day of summer! And the longest day of the year! Which means more daylight to protect your eyes from.

When we talk about sun safety, we often focus on skin — but eyes need protection, too. Kids are more susceptible to UV damage, and that risk adds up over time. Children should start wearing sunglasses as early as 6 months of age.

Lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection (look for “UV400”) help shield their vision for the long run, and a little prevention now goes a long way later.

Plus, who doesn’t love a tiny pair of shades? 😎

Friendly reminder: If your child is planning to participate in recreational sports or camp activities over the summer, they’ll need a sports or camp physical, too. 🏈

The reason? Sports and camp physicals don’t just look at their general health and immunization history (although we check that too 🤓). We also take a close look at your child’s wellness and current physical standing to determine whether they can safely participate in sports over the summer.

It’s not just for their health and safety—it’s for your peace of mind.

To schedule your child’s exam, tap our link: http://ms.spr.ly/6185SoYqh. Or simply stop by any of our Urgent Care locations. We accept walk-ins, too. 💪
