It’s officially the first day of summer! And the longest day of the year! Which means more daylight to protect your eyes from.
When we talk about sun safety, we often focus on skin — but eyes need protection, too. Kids are more susceptible to UV damage, and that risk adds up over time. Children should start wearing sunglasses as early as 6 months of age.
Lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection (look for “UV400”) help shield their vision for the long run, and a little prevention now goes a long way later.
Plus, who doesn’t love a tiny pair of shades? 😎
