Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a recent update with you all and also make a request. As for my diagnosis, things have come to a standstill. The biopsies are back and the results are not good. I have my PET Scan scheduled for Friday. The bills are piling up rapidly, despite having insurance, and we know that not all of my medical care will be covered. Additionally, once January comes around, we'll have to start over with co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses. With Nelson being the sole breadwinner at the moment and work at the shop being slow, I'm feeling quite anxious. It's crucial that I prioritize my treatment.
So, I've been brainstorming and have come up with an idea for a potential business venture. I'm considering getting a Freeze dryer for two main reasons. Firstly, it would allow me to make food shelf-stable for up to 25 years. Secondly, I could sell the long-lasting food to help offset the medical bills. However, this machine is incredibly expensive! To make it economically viable, I believe I need the larger model which costs over $4000. We're hesitant to put it on credit as our financial situation is already strained, especially with housing expenses taking priority.
Therefore, here's where things stand: I'm still battling through this tough time, feeling tired and stressed. I'm spending a lot of time praying and searching for ways to generate income.
