Su***de Prevention Month hits a lot closer to home this year.
I'm currently in a training for a new therapy modality and am learning a lot about parts of us that lead to self harm and su***de. It sucks but I know that these parts of us are trying to help soothe other wounded parts and they truly believe it's the only way to stop the ache.
But I beg of you, don't listen to that voice. Don't listen to that part. This isn't it. There are ways. There are people. You are loved. You are cared for. You are worthy.
Here are some resources for those of us that have experienced a loved ones su***de, and resources if you are considering su***de. Please stay.
