Today we treated our wonderful residents to a delicious lunch at LongHorn Steakhouse — and wow, did we all enjoy it! 😋🍞🥗
From juicy steaks and warm bread to laughter and great company, it was a day filled with smiles, full bellies, and happy hearts. ❤️

It’s always such a joy to see our residents sharing stories, laughing together, and enjoying a change of scenery. 🌞🙌

Our Welcome Committee cooked up something extra special today!
We decided we needed a signature item to share with new friends — and our first creation was none other than homemade BBQ sauce! 🍅🔥
With a mix of handpicked ingredients (plus one secret ingredient 😉), we crafted a sauce truly worthy of pairing with some Texas-style ribs! 🍖💛

When the squirrels come out to play, we know it’s time for an impromptu outdoor visit! Bonnie and Elaine adore the two little squirrels who call our backyard home — so much so, they’ve given them names: Pumpkin and Peaches! 🥰

Spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature, brings calm, joy, and a gentle sense of peace. These simple moments — watching squirrels play, feeling the fresh air — remind us not to let life’s little joys pass us by. 🍃✨

As we continue celebrating Japan Month, our residents took a delicious adventure to Shoguns — and what an experience it was! The food was amazing, the chef was entertaining, and the hibachi performance kept everyone smiling.

The best part? Most of our residents had never been before, making it a memorable first-time experience filled with excitement and wonder. 💛

Sharing new experiences not only brings joy — it builds lasting connections. We will definitely be going back! 🇯🇵✨

Our Green Thumb Club is back at it with a fresh project! A big thank you to Grace from Elara for lending a hand as Christine and our club members planted butternut squash and spaghetti squash.

🍣🇯🇵 Culinary Neighbors Club Celebrates Japan!
This month, in honor of Japan, our Culinary Neighbors Club took on a new culinary adventure — rice paper!

This month, we tried Crab Rangoon Rice Paper Rolls — and Barbara, Elaine, and Bonnie made them from scratch! Bonnie chopped, Elaine mixed, and Barbara (a little hesitant at first 😉) filled the rice paper.

One bite later… and everyone agreed — SO delicious and definitely a must-make-again! 😋👏
