Therapy Monkey celebrated our Christmas party at The Local Spark with delicious homemade soup, charcuterie spread, delicious desserts by Cross Creek Sandwich Shop, ornament exchange, and glass art crafts!

We love our team and are so very appreciative of what each individual brings! What a beautiful time of year, and how thankful we are to spend time with truly amazing individuals.

This little game targets oral motor strength to support clear speech, phoneme-level practice to help kids shape those tricky sounds, language skills as we follow directions and talk about what’s happening, and fine-motor coordination while building and balancing the tower.
All of that in one fun, giggle-filled activity!🤗

🦃Turkey time in speech! We practiced our sounds AND made the cutest puppet to take home! Nothing better than learning through play.

Erica and Kendra had the pleasure of presenting to UCA's Foundations of Nutrition class today on behalf of Therapy Monkey and HorsePlay Therapy, along with the most extra special helper, AJ!

We discussed the importance of balanced diet for pediatric therapy progress and how poor nutrition and sleep can dramatically impact child behaviors. We also discussed equine nutrition and wellness for HorsePlay Therapy's therapy herd the to keep performance top-notch!

It's always a blast getting to meet students and sharing our passion with our community. Thank you so much for having us out again, University of Central Arkansas!

Even though AJ chose to bring root beer and a candy bar to Nutrition class, it was a good lesson that balance and moderation are also key to staying well-rounded 😅
