✨ Therapy Monkey presents to Foundations of Nutrition at UCA! ✨
Freshman studying nursing and allied health heard our talk on Fuel for Function 💪🍎

We spoke on the importance of diet and proper nutrition with prenatal considerations through growth and development in adolescence. We also highlighted the impact in pediatric OT, PT, and ST — and how poor diet, nutritional deficiencies, additives, and dyes can affect the central nervous system and functional participation in daily life.

-This awesome kiddo painted our stairs during his OT session, practicing planning, executive functioning, and building lifelong skills for independence. And don’t they look great?!
