HOPE Counseling Services, LLC

HOPE Counseling Services, LLC H.O.P.E. Counseling Services, LLC provides counseling for children, adolescents and adults. I opened H.O.P.E. There is always H.O.P.E.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with children and families for 15 years in the community mental health setting. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University in 2004 and earned my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University in 2007. Counseling Services, LLC as a way reach out to those struggling with mental illness, behavior

al issues or other daily struggles. I use the cognitive behavior therapy approach because it stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. Finding the right support and guidance during difficult times is essential to your emotional, physical and spiritual well being. I am also trained in trauma therapy through MUSC using the TF-CBT model. My goal in working with clients is to "help overcome problems effectively" using a collaborative approach.
