My counseling orientation and approach is one that centers around long-term solutions as they pertain to mental, behavioral, and emotional health. I seek to connect with clients through empowering techniques that focus on each individual’s unique set of strengths. I most often utilize evidence-based techniques that have been shown in research to be clinically effective, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy. I enjoy working with a spectrum of clients from all different backgrounds. I am committed to providing each of my clients with a safe, welcoming environment that promotes healing and growth. I am completing my clinical practicum and internship requirements with Central Arkansas Group Counseling, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this team! I am originally from Washington State and only recently relocated to the beautiful city of Conway. I completed my undergraduate degree in communications at Central Washington University (go Wildcats!) and I will be obtaining my Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in sexology from Bellevue University in the coming months. In my free time, you’ll find me reading true crime novels, cooking and baking, or hiking. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our four dogs in addition to exploring my new home here in Arkansas.
