We are soliciting written bids from qualified and licensed contractors to construct 2 Residential Homes in Horry County. Bids will be accepted by mail or can be hand-delivered to 250 Victory Lane, Conway, SC 29526 up until 12noon on October 1, 2025. The selected bidder will be notified on October 8, 2025.

Check out this specialty South Carolina license plate available for families with Autism or Neurodiversity drivers can apply for. With this license plate, first responders would know if someone inside the vehicle potentially may have a sensory reaction or other behaviors related to Neurodivergence prior to approaching the vehicle. Time to shine a spotlight on our program participants! Bradley Petteys (pictured) has been part of our job coach program for over a decade. For the past five years, he has worked at the North Myrtle Beach Publix. Steady employment has given Bradley a sense independence, allowing him to afford his own place and take pride in supporting himself. Employment has strengthened his connection to the community and he enjoys being part of a team. If you run into Bradley at Publix, say hello!

If you didn’t attend the GS Miracle Leagues Celebrating Abilities Expo yesterday, you missed out. As you can see in the photo. Ability Beyond Barriers was there, along with many other service providers. We had a great time meeting with families and connecting with the community!

Our program participants learned about snakes from a visit by Out of the Ark at the Green Sea Horry County Library last week!
