We are pleased to announce that Omar Yacob, MD, has joined Baptist Health.

A native of Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Yacob earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Hartford, where he specialized in performing a range of minimally invasive procedures, including cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, and pulmonary embolism thrombectomy.

Hi, I’m McKenzie Cotton, APRN!
I’m so excited to be joining the team at Baptist Health Pediatric Clinic as their Nurse Practitioner! I bring over 5 years of experience, with a background in family practice and urgent care. Throughout my career, I’ve always had a heart for working with children and making sure families feel supported every step of the way.

I’m a wife and mom of two, and I understand firsthand how important it is to find a provider you can trust with your child’s care. I’m passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where kids feel safe and parents feel heard.

When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching all Razorback sporting events, being active in my church, traveling (the beach is my happy place), and reading a good book.
