October’s Current Top 3 Needs 🎃

Every month, we share a few items that would make the biggest difference for our herd and our riders. This month, our horses are asking for:

1️⃣ Lunge Cavesson – keeps training gentle and effective so our horses can stay healthy for sessions.
2️⃣ Horse Driving Lines – help us guide balance and coordination during therapy.
3️⃣ Neoprene Surcingle – supports fitness training and lets riders practice more specific movements.

✨ Together, these tools keep our horses strong, balanced, and ready to give their very best to the kids and families who count on them each week.

This weekend our amazing volunteers came together to continue fine-tuning essential skills of horse handling—safety, grooming, haltering, saddling, and leading. Every practice opportunity helps prepare our herd and our team to work safely and joyfully together for the incredible kids we serve.

Volunteer dedication ensures our kids continue to experience the healing power of horses.

Thoughts from the evening:
💬 “Thank you so much for tonight! I really did get so much out of it! I feel more confident and had lots of fun! This is so amazing what you are doing! Thank you!”
💬”I think the most helpful part was definitely learning that my energy and the way I walk affects not just me but the horse too. I also liked learning to be more in control like learning how to stop smoother!”
💬“My biggest takeaway was that the horses respond to our energy. I also loved learning how to handle them correctly. I had a great teacher and a great horse! 🐎”

We are so incredibly grateful for our community and the giving hearts behind it. Together, we’re changing lives.
