It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and I’m feeling extra grateful 💛

Did you know I teach at Body Wellness Massage Academy? Getting to be part of shaping future massage therapists is something I truly love. Watching students grow in both their knowledge and hands-on skills is incredibly rewarding.

I’m also lucky to teach alongside two talented women, Robin Maynard and Trish Tweedy. The passion and experience they bring make this journey even more meaningful.

Here’s to the teachers who show up, pour into others, and help build confidence one lesson at a time.

Jamie spent the weekend with Massage Therapist from all over Arkansas at the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Arkansas Chapter Convention in Cabot Arkansas. We had a Virtual Business Class, Down and Dirty Book Keeping with Kelly Bower, AMTA Business Meeting, and 16 hours of training from Cynthia Ribeiro from the National Holistic Institute focusing on TMJ disorders and Headache treatment.

Arkansas AMTA Chapter 2026 Convention (April 10–12 in Cabot) is in danger of being canceled if we do not reach the minimum number of registrations soon.

This weekend was created to bring high-quality continuing education directly to therapists in our state, but events like this can only happen when the community shows up.

If you have been planning to attend or waiting to decide, please consider registering now. Your registration may be the one that helps ensure this event moves forward.

Attendees will earn upto 18 NCBTMB-approved CE hours, including two hands-on courses:

TMJ Pain Management – 8 hours
Headaches & Myofascial Pain – 8 hours

Both courses are taught by internationally respected educator Cynthia Ribeiro of the National Holistic Institute, who brings more than 35 years of experience teaching therapists around the world.

• Sunrise yoga each morning
• Luncheons during the convention
• Networking with massage therapists from across Arkansas
