We’re hearing about scam calls and texts claiming you need to “complete your enrollment” or “renew your coverage.” These are not legitimate — they’re attempts to steal your personal information.

✅ Here’s what to remember:

Never click on links or share your Medicare number with someone you don’t know.

The only time you may receive a texted link or email is if you are actively working with a trusted, licensed agent (like our team here at Arkansas Medicare Resource Center) who is helping you with your Medicare plan.

Let's talk more about a guarantee issue onto a Medicare Supplement if your Medicare Advantage plan is leaving.

🕒 If Your Medicare Plan Is Leaving:
Don’t worry — you’ll have extra time to choose a new plan. When a Medicare Advantage plan ends its contract, you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) that lets you switch to another Medicare Advantage plan or return to Original Medicare.

💡 If you choose to go back to Original Medicare, you’ll also have a Guaranteed Issue Right to enroll in a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan — no health questions or underwriting required — and you can pick up a standalone Prescription Drug Plan (Part D).

This means you won’t lose coverage and have options to stay protected without any gaps.

🚨 ATTENTION: This is ONLY Baptist in Jonesboro, Arkansas

🚨 BREAKING: NEA Baptist will be out of network for UnitedHealthcare patients beginning Nov. 15, 2025, after contract negotiations failed to reach a new agreement.

The change affects UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored and Medicare Advantage plans, meaning patients could face higher costs for non-emergency care.

👉 VA, Medicaid, and Medicare Supplemental plans are not affected, and emergency services will remain covered at in-network rates.

In a statement to NEA Report, NEA Baptist said UnitedHealthcare "does not match our urgency or desire to find a resolution.”

A proposed law in Washington, D.C. would automatically enroll Medicare-eligible individuals into a Medicare Advantage plan—with no agent, no guidance, and no discussion about whether it's the right fit for YOU. You’d have to actively opt out if you want something else… and once enrolled, you could be locked in for three full years.

💬 Let’s be clear: Medicare Advantage plans can be a great option for many—but only when it’s your informed decision.
The problem here is the lack of personal choice and support.
