Mayor Mat Faulkner presented a Key to the City to Dr. Mitzi A. Washington during the Searcy Juneteenth Celebration.

Dr. Washington is an Internal Medicine/Pediatric Specialist in Searcy, Arkansas. She received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. With expertise in treating diabetes, obesity, and hypertension, she has provided compassionate care to countless patients.

She is known to many as our Searcy Clinic Mama, pound cake extraordinaire, and beloved Pediatrician. After 58 years in Searcy, there aren’t many who don’t know her as a doctor or call her a personal friend. As a graduate of Hendrix College and UAMS, Dr. Washington has broken barriers and paved the way for many.

Born in the 1960s, she learned perseverance at a young age—an attribute that, along with her warm smile and passion for medicine, has blessed PrimeCARE patients for over 20 years.
