Earlier this summer, we reached a new all-time high of patients served. In celebration of all the hard work of our teams, we asked them to vote on the leader they would most like to see in a dunk tank. Sunday Watson, Regional Vice President of Operations for our Central offices earned that spot, and last week we learned that while none of us would be moving onto the MLB, we had a great time throwing a few baseballs and giving her a good soaking.

We had the honor of celebrating Army veteran Richard.

Our amazing Volunteer Coordinator Kasey, Nurse Devin, and Social Worker Dana came together to present him with a special recognition ceremony. We were proud to give him a certificate of appreciation, a veteran American flag pin, a beautiful red, white, and blue lap blanket, and a heartfelt card from a local veteran. Richard's service to our country is deeply valued, and we are grateful for his sacrifices and dedication.

We are incredibly proud to highlight an amazing event led by our dedicated Volunteer Coordinator, Kasey, a beloved veteran, along with fellow Veteran Volunteer Bob.

Together, they hosted a heartfelt Vet to Vet Café at Windrush at Garden City. With coffee, snacks, and camaraderie, veterans came together to share their military experiences and stories. It was an afternoon filled with laughter, reflection, and support.

Thank you, Kasey and Bob, for fostering such a meaningful space for our veterans. Your commitment to building community connections is truly inspiring!
