South Carolina Interventionists (SCI) has been serving individuals with behavioral support in Horry County for 10 years.
SCI is currently seeking to fulfill positions with behavioral technicians who are agile, passionate, professional, creative, energetic, and have a love for children.
Minimum Requirements:
* must be 18 years or older
* have a minimum of a high school diploma
* have a valid drivers license
* pass multiple background checks
Duties:
* Behavioral technicians will be trained by Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA)
* After completing 90 days of training the technician will be required to take an exam to become a registered technician.
* Provide a minimum of twenty hours weekly of behavioral services to children with autism in Horry County.
* Services will be provided at the client’s home or in their community.
* Create a fun learning environment that produces the client to master his or her’s treatment goals.
* Behavioral technicians will implement a client’s behavioral treatment plan with support and training from the client’s BCBA.
* Behavioral technicians will take data and report all updates to the clients BCBA.
AT SCI we are committed to keeping our families, children, and staff as safe as possible, especially now during the current pandemic. All employees are required to take first-aid and CPR on a yearly basis. All staff are required to wear masks, and face shields. Temperatures are taken of all individuals in a environment before a therapy session begins. Social distancing is strongly encouraged and taught to clients. Each therapist is provided with a thermometer, hand sanitizer, all purpose cleaner, and a cleaner that kills COVID-19. All materials are cleaned after every session with a client.
