Today's post is about you being aware of common fall illnesses and the signs to watch out for while you are out there in the wild.
Changing seasons can lead to allergies and inflammations that may lead viral infections. Viral infections may cause cold like symptoms such as cough, congestion and sore throat. The cold and dry air can also trigger asthma symptoms in some individuals. Atlanta Plus Urgent Care is your local neighborhood urgent care. We are proud to serve our local community, as we can see the difference we make to peoples lives.

We started with our first center in Conyers GA, and have expanded to 7 centers in the Metro Atlanta area. Being a stand alone system, we are able to offer more tailored services than most affiliated urgent cares:

1. Individualized attention: All our providers undergo rigorous training before they start seeing patients, with only one goal in mind, ensuring that the patient receives the best possible care. From check-in to check-out, we put our patients first. It is no surprise that all our locations are rated more than 4.5 stars out of 5 on google and other platforms.

2. Friendly and Compassionate Care: At Atlanta Plus Urgent Care, all staff members are trained to put themselves in the patients’ shoes in all their interactions. This culture has built empathy and has gone a long way. Today, about 40% of our patients are returning patients and prefer not to visit other urgent care centers. This is because their concerns are heard empathetically by every member of our staff to ensure that all our patients receive the best possible care.

3. Patient Centered Care: Being a standalone system, Atlanta Plus Urgent Care clinics are not a feeder channel to major health systems. Other systems use Urgent Care clinics to increase their patient volumes for their primary care or hospital affiliates even if it means long wait times and delay in care. Atlanta Plus Urgent Care has come up with its own referral network, and we try our best to get same day appointments with specialists when necessary.

4. Flexible Pricing Plans: While pricing for insured patients is dictated by insurance contracts, Atlanta Plus Urgent Care has flexible pricing for individuals who do not have insurance but are in need of medical attention. In the past 2 years, we have written off medical bills worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. We feel that it is not right to deny someone care due to lack of insurance and inability to pay for medical services.

Atlanta Plus Urgent Care has supported the local community and now wants to extend their services to local businesses. We offer physicals, drug screens, and have the ability to take care of work related injuries at affordable rates.
