Dear Lord,
Today is Good Friday, and with solemn hearts we remember the depth of Your love shown on the cross. As Jesus declared, “It is finished,” we are reminded that the work of redemption was fully completed, nothing more needed, nothing left undone.
Thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, who bore our sins, our pain, and our brokenness so that we could be made whole.
Lord, help us to truly grasp the weight of that moment; the suffering, the surrender, and the love that held Him there.
Teach us to lay down our pride, our fears, and our burdens at the foot of the cross. In our weakness, remind us that His finished work is enough, and in our struggles, help us rest in the victory He has already won.
Forgive us, renew us, and draw us closer to You today. May we never take for granted the price that was paid for our salvation. Let this day shape our hearts with humility, gratitude, and deeper faith.
And as we reflect on the cross, may we also hold on to hope, knowing that this is not the end of the story.
