I have extensive education, training, and experience providing therapy with individuals, families and couples dealing with a variety of issues, including grief, loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse/addictions I focus on working with clients to achieve and maintain mental emotional, spiritual, physical health and wellness. My counseling philosophy also rests on the principle that each individual and each relationship is unique. This means I incorporate an eclectic style of counseling based on client need. I incorporate many interventions from various theories such as: cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, family systems, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, solution focused, emotionally focused therapy, client centered, interpersonal, and narrative therapy.
