We're a little late getting this up, but wanted to share photos from our day of Christmas in July.

We started out the day playing Christmas Bingo and in the afternoon we had a Christmas party including Christmas carols, decorating Christmas Cookies (and eating them), and were able to open up gifts.

Cook Lions Judith, Julie, and Barb are pictured here at the Busy Bee Beauty Shop in the Cook Care Center nursing home. The club recently purchased three new hair dryers for Busy Bee.

The Cook Lions have also provided funds for a licensed beautician to cut hair and do permanent wave processing. Busy Bee provides free hair services to Care Center residents and is open every Thursday morning.

New volunteers are always welcome to the Busy Bee! Please contact the Cook Care Center and make an appointment for an interview.
