Franks Pharmacy is OPEN for business at our NEW location!

1. You can find us at this address: 120 N HWY 53, Cook, MN 55723
We are located between True Value and Waschke Chevrolet.

2. Our phone lines SHOULD be working tomorrow, (Tuesday the 9th). Our phone number will remain the same as before: 218-666-5325

3. Customers are welcome to stop into the NEW building during our regular business hours: Monday-Friday 9-6pm and Sat 9-1pm. Closed on Sundays.

4. Please be aware that it may take us one to two business days to complete your order until we can get our stock supplies returned to normal.

5. We are still communicating via Facebook if you need to ask us any questions.

Public Announcement:
Here is an update to the status of your local pharmacy!
1. We are moving product into the NEW building as we speak.
2. Our phones lines are assumed to be operational by next Tuesday, July 9th.
3. Any prescriptions that were filled BEFORE the flood are still available for pick up at our NEW location.
4. We cannot process any Refills or New prescriptions at this time.
5. Our scheduled hours at the NEW location for pick up are as follows; Mon-Fri Noon-1:00pm (one hour) and again at 5-6:00pm (one hour).

Public Announcement: Please share for your friends and neighbors information

The pharmacy building is beyond salvage and repair. We will be moving our operations to the NEW BUILDING. We expect to be fully operational within two weeks!

In the meantime, we would like to address some frequently asked questions and concerns from our customers and community.

1. Some or your prescriptions may be ready for pick up at our new location! If your prescription was filled on or before June 18th, we likely have it safely stored at our new building. This includes refrigerated items that have been in short supply! If you would like to pick up your prescription please contact us via Facebook to arrange a time for pick up between normal operating hours. Cash or check is the ONLY payment we are able to accept at this time.

2. If your prescriptions were refilled on or AFTER June 19th, we likely have NOT been able to process your request. In this case, you must contact your doctor, inform them of the situation, and ask them to send a new prescription to a pharmacy of your choice in the surrounding areas such as Virginia or Hibbing.

3. If you are having difficulty picking up your prescription at a different location, remember that you have the RIGHT to pay cash for your prescription at ANY pharmacy (in most cases, though there are some situations where you cannot pay cash for certain drugs per the law). If this occurs, please ask the pharmacy staff to bill your prescription to a GOOD RX discount card and remember that you have the right to buy LESS tablets than what the doctor has written for in order to save money. Please save your receipts and inform us of the situation when we are officially open again and we may be able to help you get your money back.

4. We are tentatively planning to officially open at the new building in two weeks. This will be the weekend of July 4th! Please continue to follow us on Facebook for updates and please feel free to ask us any questions here! We will be checking Facebook three times a day, every day, to the best of our ability.

5. The new building is located at 120 N HWY 53 in Cook, MN. It is the former State Farm building. It is between Washcke Chevrolet and True Value.
