Its almost time for ’s Tiny Show!! This will be the 5th installment of the Tiny Show in our Fiddlehead Gallery… and this year things are even smaller, artists submitted art that was no larger than 5x5x5 inches!

Join us for an opening reception, Saturday June 6th from 6-8pm and celebrate our amazing community of local artists and their tiny masterpieces! We will have tiny snacks, drinks, and live music by local musicians, Echo Location.

We are fully stocked back up on candles and oils from , including the very popular Pay Me candle and Peaceful Home oil!

These oils and candles are handcrafted and each one have their own unique properties and suggested uses. The oils are intended for spiritual and ritual use, so always perform a patch test before applying to the skin if wanting to use on pulse points for personal anointing. We’re so excited to host one of our own amazing employees, , the last Saturday of this month for a pop-up!

Elise Ware is an artist based in Cookeville, TN. She is currently working in polymer clay and acrylic paints. Elise is inspired by the whimsy of nature, the Renaissance masters, and folklore. Her creations create tiny worlds within paintings or in objects as simple as a jar lid. When Elise isn’t creating new work, she likes to delve into all sorts of books, with fantasy, mysteries, and thrillers being her top picks... and of course you’ll also find her occasionally working here at The Silver Fern working behind the counter.

Save the date and come out Saturday May 30th, and swipe to get a sneak peek at some of the handcrafted goodies she will be selling including custom pie jars and mushroom pins!

We took a little field trip up to the yesterday with our friend who just installed her solo show “You, Me, and What We Made”.

Laurel and Brie met at and became friends back in 2018! Laurel is now an assistant professor of Jewelry & Metals at Rochester Institute of Technology. Laurel is also the other half of , so if you came by our Fiddlehead Gallery earlier this year to see STILL HERE, she helped organize that exhibition and also had some work in the show.

We were so excited to have her down visiting for a few days and getting to show her our new location in town. Also, we highly recommend you take the trip out to the Appalachian Center for Craft to see her solo exhibition, which is on view until July 13th.
