I get asked often how I ended up here.
Middle Tennessee. This work. This life.
I usually smile and say I didn’t take that left turn at Albuquerque.
The story starts with a 17 year old Rebekah leaving rural south Louisiana to join the Navy and stepping into the world of nuclear power. It feels like a lifetime ago and somehow still part of me.
These days I bring my mushroom coffee to the studio in this mug my bestie sent me. We met my first week in nuclear power school and have been through it together ever since. . The mug is from The Reactor Is Critical and it’s a sweet reminder that you never really know where life is going to flow when you roll with it.
The journey from nuclear power to bodywork, embodiment, and energy work practitioner has been a pretty incredible trip.
