Calling all volunteers!

When disaster strikes, Tennesseans don’t sit on the sidelines—we step up!

Hurricane Helene has hit our neighbors in East TN and Western NC hard, and the Adventure Gym family, with deep ties to these communities, is heading out to help with flood cleanup.

Now we’re calling on YOU—our Volunteer State neighbors—to pitch in and help in the best way we can!

Here’s how you can get involved:

Donate essential supplies like water, non-perishable food, diapers, wipes, formula, and gloves to support those affected.

For every sealed package you donate, your child gets a FREE visit to Adventure Gym!

Donate 5 cases of water, and your family will receive a FREE Parents’ Night Out (PNO)!

Tennessee, we’re the Volunteer State for a reason—it’s who we are! Let’s come together to support our friends to the East while giving your littles a fun-filled day at Adventure Gym. It’s a win for everyone!

(We’ll have a watertight bin out front for drop-offs anytime—cases of water can be stacked beside it. Just message us when you drop off, and we’ll credit your account. Don’t worry, we have security cameras monitoring the area.)

I have seen several posts this year saying “2024 is the hardest year for small businesses,” and boy is it. We are making some changes to the business to offset rising overhead costs and to allow Connor to spend more time at home with new baby.

The biggest change is that we are leaving our current office space. We just don’t need that big of an office right now and aren’t in it enough to make it worth it. We need help finding someone to take over our lease. If you know of someone looking, I’m going to add more info at the bottom of this post about the space and landlord contact.

But don’t worry, our current services will still be offered, just in new ways or locations. Connor will be moving Foxhole Lactation to a smaller location (announcement once we have a move in date). For now, all of our classes will be offered as 1-on-1 sessions instead (prenatal breastfeeding, nutrition, starting solids, back to work pumping, etc). Private consults won’t see any change.

WE ARE ALL STILL IN THE OFFICE UNTIL SOMEONE TAKES OVER THE LEASE! All current clients will be individually notified when arrangements are expected to change.

The Rooted Life and Foods of the Spirit will also still be offering their services with more info to come!

We are in the works for a couple different locations to offer classes again, so be on the look out for that!

For those interested in taking over the lease:
1240sq/ft with 4 individual offices you can bring other providers into if needed. Bathroom, classroom/lobby space, storage area and closet, break area. Connor and Sadie are back in office!

Connor will have a limited schedule as she phases back in to work. She will only be offering office and telehealth appointments. We can direct you to consultants that offer in-home services if needed!

Just a reminder most of our clients have services covered by insurance!

Bethany is working hard to make dietician services more accessible for people in the Upper Cumberland! She sees babies for starting solids, pediatrics, adults, prenatal & postpartum families, all the way to seniors! Contact her for more info 💕

Things have been quiet on the page and at the office this summer for good reason. Connor welcomed her new baby girl on Memorial Day and has been on maternity leave. The other ladies at the office have still been hosting classes and seeing clients, but the social media posts and pop-up classes/events have been put on pause.

Connor anticipates to start coming back to the office part time in August with this precious little fox. Thank you for everyone’s patience and respect of her time off 🧡
