Upper Cumberland MGMA UCMGMA, local chapter of TMGMA UCMGMA is a Chapter of Tennessee MGMA that services the Upper Cumberland Tennessee area.

We are a professional association of medical practice managers, administrators, and other medical professionals. Our mission is to improve healthcare and help our members through education, networking, and advocacy. Members will be able to successfully face today’s challenges with knowledge and experiences gained through UCMGMA. UCMGMA meets every other month beginning in January from 11:45 until 1:00 pm. Lunch is provided during speaker presentations at the membership meetings.

Thinking about ACMPE Certification? Now is the time to take the next step!
A free virtual study group begins on Wednesday, August 6th at 1pm ET/12pm CT. This free study group is designed to help you prepare for the certification process.
Each week state ACMPE Forum Reps will identify content necessary to meet board certification standards, including financial management, regulatory compliance, organizational governance and departmental operations management and transformative healthcare delivery. Mary Dee is a practicing trial attorney since 1992, handling primarily workers' compensation defense and employment discrimination defense, in state and federal Courts and administrative agencies. She obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing from Union University in 1988, passing her State Licensure Board that same year, a Bachelor's Degree in History from Union University in 1989, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Memphis in 1992. Mary Dee has an AV Preeminent® Rating - which is the highest possible rating given by Martindale-Hubbell, the leading independent attorney rating entity. Rana has dedicated her career to healthcare, starting at a radiology practice while in high school. After working with SVMIC in previous roles, she joined the Medical Practices Services team in 2011, drawn by their reputation and expertise. She values the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from her supportive coworkers and policyholders. She has presented at the national level of the Medical Group Managers Association (MGMA) and served on the American College of Medical Practice Executives Certification Commission.
