Happy Recipe Monday! Every time I go to the local farmer's market, I see a ton of tomatoes. There are a ton of colors, green yellow and of course red. Yellow tomatoes are generally sweeter and less acidic, so these ones are better for those who struggle with acid reflux.

Happy recipe Monday! This is the last full week in June, so we are ending this with some tasty peach breakfast cookies! When I make these, I always add chia seeds or pumpkin seeds to add more protein. For any breastfeeding moms out there, this can help increase supply too.

Happy Recipe Monday! With peaches in season in TN, I wanted to share some recipes that incorporate this delicious fruit. This first recipe is a healthy, easy and cool treat for kids on those hot summer days.
Peaches are rich in antioxidants, fiber and vitamins such as C and A. There is research showing that peaches could help improve heart health, prevent certain cancers, improve eye and skin health and potentially reduce allergy symptoms.

happy (late) Recipe Day! This month I'm focusing on the health benefits of oregano. On top of oregano being in season, oregano oil is used for its strong antibiotic properties. Oregano can help with preventing certain cancers, reduce weight and decrease inflammation.
