A true story. One of our technicians once delivered an oxygen concentrator to an elderly man 👴🏼 who lived alone. The technician noticed the man’s fridge was nearly empty and that he moved slowly, struggling to bend to plug in the device.
No policy required the technician to do anything more than set up the equipment and leave.

But he stayed. 👊🏼

He rearranged the man’s furniture so the tubing wouldn’t trip him, labeled the machine’s buttons in big print, checked his smoke detectors, and even called the man’s daughter to update her so she wouldn’t worry.

Weeks later, the family wrote to say that simple kindness—not the equipment—made the biggest difference. The patient said he felt “safe again.” The daughter said it restored her peace of mind. 💙

The business gained nothing financially from the extra time spent that day.
But they earned something far more valuable: trust.

"Bad business model," I joked.
"Good sleep model," he said.
His shop is always busy.
