✨What is a Foot Care Nurse?✨
A foot care nurse is a Registered Nurse with additional education in foot care.
Some things a foot care nurse will do during your appointment:
- Check for circulation, assess skin conditions, sensation and check for proper fitting shoes
- Access and care for feet by trimming nails and reducing corns and callouses
- Provide education to clients on their foot care needs
If there is a need for more specialized care your foot care nurse can provide referrals to other health care professionals for further treatment.
