2025 taught me that healing with PCOS isn’t about doing more — it’s about living more honestly.

I traveled. I grieved. I built. I rested. I ate the sweet things. I did hard things.

I learned that my nervous system responds best to presence, not perfection.

This year looked like farmers’ markets and making my first tinctures, backpacking many miles, writing my first book, becoming a wellness coach, buying our first home, dancing at concerts, standing in awe of nature, and letting myself cry when my grandma passed.

But it wasn’t just about putting my PCOS into remission. It was about meeting myself in a completely different way. Learning how to process emotions somatically.

Letting my body feel instead of forcing it to function. My relationship with my body changed.

Less rigidity. More trust.
Less control. More regulation.
Less noise. More stillness.

My relationship with my husband softened and deepened. My business grew — and so did I.

My priorities shifted to what my heart knows matters most. There were sick days, fun days, hard days, sad days, and days so beautiful they reminded me why healing is worth it.

🌿 As a PCOS girlie myself, I know how confusing, frustrating, and downright debilitating the symptoms can be.

I’ve battled hormone imbalance since I was 13 — and there have been many days my body felt like it was working against me.

But after spending the last few days backpacking along the Appalachian Trail with some family and friends, something shifted.

Somewhere between the miles of quiet forest trails and moonlit sleep, I reconnected with my body in a new way.

I realized how hard it works for me — always doing its best, even when I make it hard for it to thrive. When I gave it what it truly needs — protein, healthy fats, lots of calories to burn, deep rest under the stars, and a circadian rhythm synced to nature — my energy came alive. My body felt strong, capable, and radiant.

It hit me that this body has always wanted to serve me.
It’s not my enemy. It’s my greatest ally.

And while it’s a little sad that it took four days in the woods to remember that, it’s also empowering! Because it reminded me that how I feel is largely in my hands.
Every bite, every bedtime, every choice is a message to my body that says:

✨ “You’re safe. You’re supported. You’re loved.”

So I’ll ask you what I asked myself on that trail — How can you show your body love today?

Maybe it’s a nourishing meal, a slow walk, a nap, or simply gratitude. Whatever it is, your body will respond — it’s always listening. 🤍

I’ve been reminded recently of the healing power of connection and family. We, especially as women, were never meant to live life alone hyper independently (which is what society tells us to do 😭). We’re made for connection 🤍 It’s a biological need!

Connection ties into a feeling of safety which is what our nervous system requires in order to function properly. If our nervous system is dis-regulated, our whole system as women becomes dis-regulated. Connection and safety is the foundation of healing and hormone balance for us 🥹 It’s incredibly important
