Career Week was a tail-wagging success! 🐾

Today, Dr. Jayme Burnett from Copelands Veterinary Hospital visited Capshaw Elementary School to share all about life as a veterinarian. She didn’t come alone though… she brought a very special guest and four-legged assistant, Beasley! 🐶

The students loved learning about caring for animals, what it takes to be a vet, and of course, getting to meet Beasley (who definitely stole the show). We are so proud to inspire future animal lovers and future veterinarians one classroom at a time!

Thank you, Capshaw Elementary, for inviting us to be part of such a fun and meaningful career week!

Copeland Veterinary Hospital, Flatt Veterinary Clinic, and our teams were proud to support the Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter at the 20th Annual Fur Ball last Saturday! Events like this help fund adoption events, low-cost vaccine clinics, and extra medical care for senior pets—giving them a true second chance.

For newly adopted pets, remember the 3/3/3 rule:
• 3 days to decompress
• 3 weeks to learn routines
• 3 months to feel fully at home

A huge shout out to some of our rockstars — Hope, Rebecca, Kyla, Katy and Bev — for being here Saturday night, Sunday, and again today taking care of our ICU & Boarding patients and being available for clients who needed us. 💙

They monitored critical patients, Bev walked pets and cleared snow from the sidewalks, making sure our hospital continued to run safely during the storm. That kind of dedication matters.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for the heart they show our patients and community every single day.
