My answer is always the same…fish for all the species if your timing is right, and the best fish to catch is the one that bites. I always recommend a combo trip when you come to the Kenai. Get a taste of everything the River has to offer!

The rainbows of the Kenai are often times as fat as they are long. They are well fed and full fight. Catch and release laws for these wild fish has created one of the best trophy rainbow fisheries on the planet. We are lucky to fish it everyday in the summer and fall.
